Mark Magnarella has explored many visual mediums over the decades, from drawing/painting to abstract photography and motion work. Public showings of his works include projections of his original abstract films during live events including the Annual Gala at the Georgia Museum of Art in 2018 and several live performances with bands Powerkompany and Dream Boat at local Athens venues, where Mark currently resides. His work often straddles the abstract and known worlds, contains numerous light sources, has a psychedelic vibe and embodies an esoteric quality that is difficult to define but easy to engage with.
Noah Leaf Mendelson
With each work, Noah strives to create something original – pieces that encapsulate beauty and inspire people to dream and pause. His formal study is in painting. Noah values the balance between the discipline it requires and the freedom it allows. His favorite pieces unfold easefully – without preconceived notions – and enter in a space where color, technique and emotion flow. Noah is from Appalachia and has lived in Athens, Georgia, Asia and the Southwest. He now resides in Mexico.
Jamie de Revere
After being bribed with a 35mm camera for good grades, Jamie discovered photography in high school. Today, he uses both digital and analog techniques and photographs a variety of subjects, from events to botanicals. He enjoys the dark room process – the way time dissolves, the sensory experience of music and sound of water, and the magic of images emerging and becoming tactile in his hands. Jamie feels like photography has enabled him to meet people he may not have met, from musicians to working people. Jamie also plays the guitar and drums and lives with his family on a flower farm near Athens, Georgia.
